The Testing Laboratory Directorate (TLD) is accredited to perform testing ofchemical elements from sodium (Na) to uranium (U) in thin layers (scenic, coats), glass, micro particles sized 0,1 µm to 100 µm. The testing is performed using SEM EDX – Scanning electronic microscopy and X-ray microanalysis. This is a nondestructive express method for the determination of chemical composition, form, dimensions, inhomogeneities. As annexes to the test reports, TLD can also supply images in SEI, X-ray map, Line scan.
